SIPCO Innovations Inc., the manufacturer of Hygrozyme and other natural and safe to use products, is looking for a Western Retail Brand Representative with experience working within the horticultural and/or agricultural industries. The ideal candidate has the experience of working with hydroponics stores, indoor growers and greenhouses within west coast of Canada and US.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB PURPOSE:
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corporate
· Consistently embodies and models the adherence to the corporate values of the organization;
· Works effectively and relates well with others exhibiting a professional manner while striving to maintain constructive working relationships;
· Protects and maintains strict confidentiality of the company, its products, formulations and processes along with the personal information of all staff members;
Sales
· Provide outstanding customer service to retailers, distributors and end-users;
· Visit retail and commercial clients frequently to provide education and support.
· Must establish trust with partner channels contacts, build stronger and more valued customer relationships.
· Ability to utilize sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns, and determine appropriate solutions;
· Work closely with the Director of Business Development on new product developments through sharing critical market intelligence for industry advancements and industry trends;
· Strong process discipline, ability to align planning objectives with a pipeline development process to grow and develop market revenue;
· Frequent overnight travel ranging from 1-21 days per month to attend industry events, build relationships at store level and expand brand awareness;
· Produce materials for and execute product knowledge sessions with store staff members, distributors and end-users;
· Introduce and demonstrate new products;
· Communicate directly with retailers and growers, provide samples for testing, collect data, photos and testimonials for R&D and future marketing purposes;
· Input all customer and consumer data, activities and opportunities into CRM on a daily basis
· Provide weekly call reports, recapping your activities and successes for the week along with competitive market conditions and customer feedback;
· Work effectively and relate well with others exhibiting a professional manner while striving to maintain constructive working relationships;
· Communicate and work with various departments as needed;

· Complete all reporting in a timely basis;
· Protect and maintain strict confidentiality of the company, its products, formulations and processes along with the personal information of all staff members;
Quality / ISO
· Works in an ISO certified company and complies with all applicable ISO requirements including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and quality assurance measures;
· Identifies non-conformances, initiating and resolving NCR’s;
Continuous Improvement & Team Work
· Recommends and administers policies and procedures to enhance operations;
· Participates in weekly and monthly company meetings;
· Participates as a team player focused on the success and well-being of the company;
· Participates in and conducts cross training activities as required;
Safety
· Adheres to all work safe requirements as applicable.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· A University degree or college diploma in sales and/or marketing is preferred;
· Progressive experience of at least 3 years in Sales is a must;
· Knowledge of hydroponic, indoor and traditional/mainstream growing systems, gardening practices and methods preferred;
· Excellent communication and relationship management skills;
· Highly evolved customer service skills;
· Effective presentation and public speaking skills;
· Strong computer skills;
· Own reliable vehicle;
· Valid driver’s License;
· Must be able to travel to the United States;
